dith.er - to be nervously irresolute in doing

pay it forward

Today, walking down Chestnut, Mike and I saw a little old woman with an injured foot trying to scoot herself down the sidewalk in her wheelchair. I was thinking, “Oh dear, we have to get her home,” right as the woman in front of us stopped and asked the lady if she could use some momentum.

Random acts of kindness make my heart swell. There are good people in the world if you look closely enough.

When I was a little kid my mom used to ask me everyday whether I had done something kind for someone. I hated it at the time, but since I knew it was coming I would always go out of my way to do something nice so that I could tell my mom. It’s been years and years since she’s asked me that, but I still think about it often.
